This years ski week will be held from Sunday 12 August to Sunday 19 August 2018.
Jeff and his sister purchased a share in the Lodge in the early 1980's. The Inaugural Ski week was in 1986. The crowd in the 1st year was a mix of family and old Maitland and new Sydney friends and work colleagues.
The week ran every year after that from 1986 to 1989 inclusive. By 1989, we were filling the Lodge. Jeff had to fly out to Saudi the day before the 1989 ski week, so Sue took over. He rang from 50C heat and 100% humidity in Saudi and it was snowing at the Lodge!
He came back from Saudi in late 1994, and the ski weeks started again in 1995, and have gone continuously every year since. So in 2018 we reach 28 overall, and this will be 24th in a row! And we have now booked the whole Lodge for the last 15 years straight.
And worth noting that in 2018, Chris and Cass Gunn have joined Sister Sue and Jeff as Klenor shareholders.
